Itty Bitty Atia, our Boston Terrier miniature baby is waiting for her new home

Update: Atia has a new home and she will fly home on March 2nd to her new family in Bluffton, SC. Congratulations to Jan and Joe, your baby girl is coming home!!!

Itty bitty Atia is waiting ever so patiently for her new home as are Asa and Palmer. Since Atia is so little I have had to turn down families who had small children and very large dogs. She's getting a little older but not bigger. Dr. Huffman says she is incredibly healthy but she's just tiny.

She loves to wrestle and play with our grown puppies and does not recognize her size in the least bit. I know that her forever home is just waiting for her and that it will be a perfect match.

As for Asa and Palmer they too are waiting for their forever homes. They are five weeks old, enjoying puppy food and barking hopping and growling and cuddling.
If you are interested in either Atia, Asa or Palmer then please give me a call at (985) 607-5837 for more information and for your tele-interview.

Have a great day and I will post new photos of these babies soon.

My puppies eyes are opening up and I adopted Yumi to Julia in New Orleans.

The puppies eyes are opening up and it's so exciting to see them looking more and more like little Bostons. They all got a little warm water bath this evening and then they were gently dried off and placed on a fresh clean towel on top of a heating pad. They were so comfortable and peaceful.

Today I got a call from Julia in New Orleans and she said that she would love to adopt Yumi. She said that she even loved the name. I was so happy that she wanted to keep the baby's name Yumi. She said that this would be her first dog to have all her own. I told her congratulations because after speaking with her for an extended period of time I could tell that she was a caring individuals and the type that I would love to have one of my babies to care for.

Oh, and what else happened today? I went to the gym and worked out for about an hour and that's great if you know me. I went by myself since my workout partner could not make it. I did cardio and lower body weight training and really got myself to feel the burn. Yeah baby! I weighed myself and I am exactly three pounds lighter then I was two weeks ago on the same scale and in the same weight clothes too. I thought it was my imagination that I was losing a little weight but I guess I actually am losing weight. I have a long way to go but I'll get there. With perseverance and patience and a lot of hard work I will get there.

So that is what is going on. Not much! Just hanging in there playing with my dogs and puppies and spoiling them too.

Judy's Bayou Bostons. Our puppies are so cute! And our parents are too!

Well, this is the first day of my blogging and my very first post here. The purpose of this blog is to keep everyone up to date on what's going on with our puppies, our dogs and everything else.:)

First of all we have two new litters. A litter of eight from Sophie and Chocolate Charming on Dec 15th, 2008 and another just a week later a litter of five from Ruby and Big Beau. The puppies have all had their dewclaws removed and their tails docked as need be. I'm the elated party to perform this task, which our daughter Isobel disdainfully refers to as the dark deed. I was trained my vet to do it so I have all the right tools and I keep everything really clean and I haven't had any problems with doing this myself.

One of our newest babies Lawrence already has a home to go to. The Dubois of Norwood NY are going to make him a part of their family. I know that he is going to have a wonderful and loving home. Lawrence's is going to the home of retired couple and they will have plenty of love, time and attention for him.

I am already receiving adoption calls for my other puppies. I know that they will all find wonderful homes.

And our parents Bostons are wonderful and cute too.
