Renovation on the puppy room is getting done!

The puppy room renovations are going great. Paint on the walls and ceiling, crown molding is up, and rubber wall base is down. Now to move in the new cabinets, sew the curtains, make the decorations for the curtains and the rug. I can't forget the rug.:) I also have photos to frame and display as well. I also have some really cute ideas for wall decoration as well. And seating too. This project has been on going but it is so satisfying to see the progress. I think that I am going to enjoy it as much as the puppies are.:) I think it's going to be a nursery/livingroom. I am emulating the Pottery Barn look without paying the Pottery Barn price. There are so many wonderful ideas and designs also at www.ballarddesigns.com

I'll try to remember to snap photos from here on out as things get done. If you all are like me than you love "before" and "after" photos. I rescued the frame from the trash and primed and painted it white and I will than put some cork board inside the frame for a little memo station. The fabric Sophie, Bridgett and Bailey really like is a Fieldcrest Luxury drapery panel in velvet cream I picked up for a $1.00 at the "Dirt Cheap" in Petal, MS. It's a 54x95 inch panel and it regularly retails for $32.99 at Target. It's completely lined and beautiful. I will turn this panel into two smaller curtains for the windows and also add a shade block lining to the back as well. More chalking and painting touch ups to do. But in all things are coming along nicely.
